Job Description

 

The primary responsibility for this role will be lead the creative design and implementation of all marketing content for the company – including internal and external communications, e-mail and social media campaigns, website content, webinar and video production, and related activities.  In addition, this role will oversee the logistics for conferences attended by MMS staff across the globe.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Mentors other and guides teams’ understanding of the use Adobe suite of products to create effective graphics and content elements, and brings new elements forward for consideration
  • Leads the creation of new marketing materials including (but not limited to) social media posts, scientific articles, blogs and webinars. As well as internal presentations and general communications
  • Expert level understanding the intricacies of social media community management and maintains a regular posting schedule
  • Drives development of brand standards and ensures branded content is consistent with the corporate style guide
  • Acts as the point of contact for creative requests and ensures on-time delivery. Delegates requests to others within the team as needed.
  • Finds ways to minimize administrative burden and keeps up-to-date tracking for routine work.
  • Oversees coordination and logistics related to MMS employees’ attendance at industry conferences and events.
  • Contributes to the creation of, or updates to, department processes
  • Supervises direct reports
  • Acts as a liaison with management and other department managers to accomplish organizational goals
  • Collaborates with internal teams to optimize marketing funnels
  • Tracks departmental metrics, develops insights and makes recommendations for optimizations.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years' experience in Pharma/CRO with the day-to-day management of marketing operations required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of creative design and campaign management.
  • Ability to work independently and provide leadership where required.
  • Prior experience working with a global team across time zones.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast- faced environment.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
