Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality service to internal and external customers. Able to remain positive in challenging situations. Sets example to more junior level colleagues.
  • Proficient at organizing and maintaining records related to position specific activities and is able to advise junior level colleagues.
  • Proficient at utilizing various modules and features of the Human Resources Information System (experience with ADP a plus) to effectively manage personnel records.
  • Expert at organizing individual projects and tasks to ensure on time task, project and goals completion. Effectively manages priorities.
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of UK Employment Law. Offers suggestions related Employment Law practices. Creates and maintains SOPs, Work Practices, Policies, and Forms related to UK.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employee Benefits programs. Able to independently administer and answer employees' inquiries about company benefits.
  • Has proficient knowledge of compensation and payroll practices. Assists Line Manager in some aspects of payroll administration. May lead payroll processing.
  • Has a good understanding of Employee Relations practices. Uses good judgement of which issues can be addressed or escalated to a more senior HR Manager.
  • Coordinates Learning and Development activities as a part of MMS Learning and Development strategy and provides suggestions for improvements.
  • Has knowledge of full cycle talent acquisition processes. Able to engage candidate's interest by promoting MMS alongside the Talent Acquisition Team.
  • Acts as the HR Point of Contact within UK for various ongoing HR Initiatives such as: Social Committee, Performance Reviews, Face to Face events, Recognition Programs, Symposiums, etc.

Requirements:

  • College graduate Human Resource or Business discipline or related field, or related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource Role or similar field required.
  • Has a high level of proficiency with MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight from management.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work with others to clearly understand needs and solve problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards preferred.
  • Basic understanding of CROs and scientific & clinical data/terminology, & the drug development process.
